Inspired by his color-infused song, Bold As Love, this portrait of Jimi Hendrix is a rainbow brought to life. That particular song uses colors as metaphors for the spectrum of human emotions, and it has always been a favorite of mine. When my daughter was born on Jimi’s birthday, it became a family anthem.
