Everyone’s favorite gaffer in warm, cheerful Ted colors. This (original) Ted Lasso portrait was created as a donation to Thundergong 2022, a fundraiser for local KC nonprofit Steps of Faith. The event raises money to help underinsured and uninsured amputees get the prosthetics they need. Jason Sudeikis (aka Ted Lasso) is a childhood friend of the SOF founder and is heavily involved in the event each year. A portion of every sale of this portrait will be donated back to Steps of Faith.
This portrait is based on Ted’s expression during one of my favorite scenes, where Ted attempts to “girl talk” with Rebecca (S2/E1). What made me (and everyone) fall in love with this show is the way it centers around kindness. As a lifelong Midwesterner, I love how he celebrates our very particular brand of warmth in the way he portrays Ted. I created this portrait in warm, friendly colors to amplify that Ted Lasso spirit we all love.
This is an Open Edition Print:
